Man, I can't believe that we are starting a new transfer. This past transfer went by way too fast. Like no joke. I have loved every second of it. There was not a day that went by that I did not learn, grow or see God's hand in my life. So we got big news on Sunday morning. I am staying here in Sha Lu and I got a new companion! Sister Carlson is moving down south to Nantou and my new companion is Sister Nelson. She came from GaoXiong. And guess who was her trainer and her last companion down south? Sister Voss! Wow what a small world. She is super awesome! Sister Nelson is a total sweetheart. She is from Provo, Utah and went to BYU before her mission. She is younger than I am. She has been on island for 4 months. Her Chinese is really good too! We are going to have a blast this transfer. I am so excited for all the adventures that we are going to have together.
It is also my first time being a senior companion so it'll be interesting.
Another thing is that I hit my 9 month mark! Like Beau said on his mission “That’s like making a whole baby!” How cool is that? Well ... actually it is not cool. Time is more than just flying, it's rocketing out of this atmosphere. We had a pretty awesome birthday party for our English class and I took home a balloon. I used that as my halfway-mark "baby" – haha!
This is probably what I will look like when I am prego-in-the-ego. wierd.
I have learned a lot on my mission … a lot about life, God, the gospel and myself. I am definitely improving as a disciple of Jesus Christ. I am no where near perfect or where I want to be. I can always improve. All of us can.
I love you all! Have a great week.
