Hello friends and family! Surprised?!?! Yup, P-day was changed to Friday instead of Monday. They changed the exchanges because of the 35 new missionaries that came! So I won’t be able to email this coming Monday :( That is ok. You will get all of the det’s the next week!
Nothing too new happened in the past 4 days. We had our English party which was so much fun! It was a luau. We did the limbo, conga, ate apple nachos, and I taught a Hawaiian dance. I really don’t know anything about Hawaiian dancing - but I gave it a shot. Everyone had so much fun!

Well, we were also chosen to be there for Dan Jones night with the new missionaries! It was so great!
I saw a lot of people there from Davis High. Elder Mason Cook was there and so was Sister Sara Munns. It is really cool to see my old peeps. And everyone's Chinese is soooo good! When they were standing up on the stool and sharing their testimony I thought, "Wow! Their Chinese is really good!" I was with a lot of natives and they were really impressed! SO Good Job newbees!

Ok, who wants to hear about FOOD??? I always get the question about what is the best to eat and what has been my favorite. Ok, so this week we ate a lot of yummy stuff. I had these little pancake things (bing) with filling inside. They have a bunch of different kinds of filling like red bean or butter milk. It is so good! And a convenient snack.
I also tried pudding milk ice. IT WAS SO GOOD! Sister Crowell and I are going to start a bing shop when we get home and this is definitely at the top of the menu. The bing was made out of milk. So shaved milk with pudding on top. I'm sure it was pretty fattening - but so good!
We went out to lunch with a member and she bought us curry with rice omelets. Curry is amazing in itself. And then the rice omelet is an omelet with rice in it.
And favorite fruit of the week? Purple dragon fruit :))

Last night was my last night in Bei Tun. One of our English students gave us a huge bag of marshmallows. We had leftover apples, chocolate and sweetened condensed milk syrup rom the English party. Don't put teenage girls together with all of that junk food. We played chubby bunny, (for the record I won!) and made all sorts of different combinations of food. My favorite: pretzels, and marshmallows on top in the oven and then drizzle chocolate and sweetened condensed milk over top. It is so good!
So funny story: I accumulated a lot of things from my last area. They were all free so I decided to keep some extra stuff that I might use in the winter. So my bags are super heavy and I had to put a lot of stuff on my carry on. Well, my carry on was so heavy that it would not fit in my bucket on the back of my bike. So I just rolled it right beside me while I biked. It was a funny sight. I got a lot of weird looks - Haha!
Lately I have had absolutely no energy to do anything. I have had to work REALLY hard to stay awake and to talk to people. I love talking and sharing but I feel drained all the time. And it is really affecting my mood and my focus. So if you have any suggestions let me know? I'm going to start going to bed earlier and eating healthier. That will be really hard but I think it'll help.

Well I moved to Sha Lu. It is at the very west of Taiwan right by the ocean! So that means BEACHES ON PDAY!! Ya I am so excited. And this is a country side. I took some pictures while we were on our bikes. There are lots of rice fields and not a whole lot of people. I guess you could say that this is comparable to the Idaho farmlands in the USA. In my last area the main source of getting new investigators were from contacting on bikes. This area is totally different! No one is out! Well except for the people who are BaiBai-ing. This month is the Ghost festival. They believe that this month all the ancestor ghosts will come back and when they "awake" they will want food. So everyone has tables of food outside of their houses and stores for their ancestors. Wish I could take a picture of it and show y'all - but I won’t because it is very disrespectful.
My new companion is Sister Carlson. I knew her in the MTC. She was actually my STL there. She is the BOMB! I love her so much and we are going to do great here.
Sorry this email is super short
Love you all! I am really excited to be here in Taiwan and to serve the Lord
Love, Sister Graham
