Some exciting things that happened this week:
Carrie got baptized! Carrie is in the Qing Shui branch. She is awesome! The baptism was a very uplifting experience. We had our investigator, Grace, come to it. She is 19 years old. When we invite her to do things or to come to places - she won’t come unless the Elders are there. She is obsessed with them I swear. But she is opening up to us sisters as well. The Spirit was so strong and you could tell that she felt it. She came to church on her own the next morning. That was a total miracle.
We got locked out of our house this week. We went out running at the elementary school in the morning. We don't take a key with us because we have a spare in an umbrella. Well, we checked the umbrella and there was no key. So we waited for about 2 hours for the locksmith to answer his phone. We met a lot of cool people out at the local park. Taiwanese people are awesome! Everyone here is so kind and generous. Really, like the other day we were contacting and we ran into this girl and her mom. She was super sweet, after sharing a little about the gospel she gave us bread that she just bought and a drink. I am going to be more like that when I get home.

About a week ago we made the goal that we were not going to come home early. We are going to stay out until exactly 9 pm. If we come home and we have like 5 minutes to spare we will think of something productive to do. One night we looked at the Referral System. it was 8:55 pm and we called the latest person who was updated. She answered and told us to come visit her next week. So excited! Miracle of not wasting time.
Updates on investigators:
Chen jie mei: we had dinner at her house this week. She has been super busy with work and taking care of her grand kids. But she was able to read some of the Book of Mormon this week. We have taught her about prayer a lot but she is still doesn't know how to do it.

Liu Jie Mei: We had dinner with her, her mom and her friend who is apparently a member. Did not know about that friend! Mom be proud, we made deviled eggs, tortellinis (well those were store bought and so was some bread) and homemade chicken salad. It was great! It was so much fun just to chill and be with them. And we were able to casually talk about life. And then lead into a great discussion and a wonderful followup on her relationship with God. She told us that she does not know what path God wants her to be on. She has not received an answer yet.
Ming Ling: we have been on and off meeting with Ming Ling but last night she was so into the Book of Mormon and wanted us to read with her. She shared with us her life goals. Most of them were like, "be more charitable...humble...help family be stronger." Very excited to keep on meeting with her.

We have had to drop a TON of investigators because they lacked interest or their interest were in other things, mainly just learning English. People will meet with us just because we are Americans. Oh well.
We had a fun FHE. Good food and games :)
