HEY HEY HEY!!!
Guess what fam and friends....I don't leave
for Taiwan until the 23rd of April. Don't know if that
is a NIHAO QIJI moment or not. Actually I am
happy to stay. Love the people here and I
am learning a lot.
This is a photo of Sister Lin and I serving at the
FMSC. I love to help and feel like I am making
a difference. It's fast paced and hard work but I
love it!
Mon:
We went to the art gallery on ASU campus and that was so much fun! Dru you would absolutely love it there. Every artist writes a paper about why they pain/draw and what their pictures mean to them. It is sooooo interesting!
Tues:
All of our plans fell through :( So we went finding in a Chinese area. That was fun! Invited everyone to the Easter Pageant that is playing at the MESA temple.
So I have to clear out all of my fb. So fam if any of you have been on my fb - 1/2 of my stuff is gone. I have to hide EVERYTHING! And it is literally taking me FOREVER TO DO IT! It is so weird looking back on the life that I had before a mission. Some of the stuff I saw brought back good memories and some not so good. I realized how much time I spent on social media. It makes me sick. Really with that time I could've done so much for myself or for others.
Wed:
We are assigned to read 4 talks about womanhood before Saturday and they were all SO GOOD! Really, I gained a lot of new insight to how I should treat my body and how I view my divine role.
We also did service today at treasure for teachers. Always a joy to serve and I absolutely love that place!
NI HAO QIJI! This girl named Briana texted us and wants us to see her and she wants her testimony to grow and to go to church again. She will be awesome.
We taught a chinese guy named F. Well his Chinese name is Fei which means Fly. So his English name is FLy but we just call him F. He has no religious background and he is so shy. But from the first time we taught him last week he knows that the gospel can help him...he just doesn't know how.
We had English class tonight. We learned about Rock n Roll which was sooooo much fun! That is the only time that I listen to worldly music. Not that I look forward to it or anything ;)

Thurs:
I GOT A PACKAGE I GOTA A PACKAGE I GOT A PACKAGE HEY HEY HEY HEY!!! Thanks mom for sending me what the Leprechaun left me ;) Totally made my day!
We had 3 lessons today. One with Jay who wants to be baptized. Jay is awesome! We taught him the plan of salvation and our last topic was about the Celestial Kingdom. His next question was, "How can I get to the Celestial Kingdom?" Well Jay let me tell you ... We extended a date and he said, "Let me check my calendar and I will let you know." He is so funny.
Then we taught Vincent who is still trying to accept the concept about God - but he is understanding which is good. Actually, he is really interested in Joseph Smith. And we taught F and Jack. They are both friends but on different levels so it's really hard to teach them both. Jack has been reading Anti-mormon literature and he really brings that negativity into lessons. Not so much as arguing, but more of just that prideful countenance. Does that make sense? That was the first lesson that I bore my testimony and cried. After hearing the testimony of Jonny, a member, the pride left Jack. I could see him humblize. haha is that a word? buahahaha! Anyhoo- the rest of the lesson was just awesome!!!
Fri:
I have noticed that Sister Lin has been awfully quiet and not herself. We had companionship Inventory and we were able to talk things out. We have a better relationship from that and we are working together to become better. LOVE HER TO DEATH.
So whenever we go to Jason's house for dinner he gives us deep doctrine and date doctrine. He is the funniest person I have ever met. A total goof ball.
Sat:
Today was the BEST DAY EVER! We had an ALL DAY Sisters meeting to discuss those talks that we had to read and we ate a lot of food. Perfect combination. I was crying the WHOLE TIME! Like no joke. And when President Toone told us that we could text our moms I lost it. Like totally lost it. LOVE you mom and I miss you soooo much!! *crying in the library its fine* And I hope ya'll watched the women's conference cuz that was amazing! Words of God!
We saw the Easter Pageant which was amazing! We went with a big group of Asians. And I met a couple whose son went to Taiwan on his mission.

Sun:
Today I felt like I should pray for the opportunity to comfort someone. And that opportunity came. The Lord never fails. There is this member, an RM who went to Germany. She is home and not married. She feels really lonely and I was able to talk with her. Tender Mercies.
Every Sunday we have dinner at Mama Scotts. She invites like the whole neighborhood over and it is a party!! And she is a really good cook too.
Lately when we have tried to go finding we have not been very successful but tonight we found a lot of new people and information. Sunday's are the best times to do that. :))

Sorry if everything is scatterbrained. It was definitely a roller
coaster week. But loving the work and the people I am here with!
