But guess what! I GOT MY VISA!!!!!!!! I'm leaving on April 6th....ish. Sometime during that week.
I'M SO EXCITED!!!!!!!!! DOUJIANG HERE I COME ;)
So here we look for miracles. And whenever a companionship has a miracle they text the whole zone "Ni Hao qiji..." - which means "Hello Miracle" :) How cool is that?! :)) I have decided everyday to write a miracle down on a sticky note and put it in my journal. I really like keeping track of how much God's hand is in my life :)
MIRACLE: I GOT MY CAFE RIO! --------->
Well actually it was costa vita, but those who are in the MTC will understand the struggle.
Later I asked this girl who we are teaching, Jessica, to be baptized. I have never heard someone be so sure of their decision! She said no. But hey, now she's thinking about it. I'm gonna get her baptized. Or AT LEAST have a date by the end of the transfer. She's awesome!
There was a shooting today in our complex. 6 people shot and one dead. Luckily we were out doing service at that time. But it was scary! And apparently it made it on national news!?
We did my favorite service today! We worked at a Christian non-profit called "Feed My Starving Children". It's fast paced and really fun - I love it!
I went on splits with Sister Davies and Sister Harkness because SIster Lin had a meeting. It's really cool to see how other people teach.
We found a new investigator! His name is Aashay and he is from India. Cool! Any one know anything about Hinduism?
We taught Jack and F. They are Chinese and really cool. The spirit was so strong in that lesson!
F doesn't seem too interested, but Jack is thinking about getting baptized!
I LOVE SUNDAYS! FREE FOOD AND ENGLISH CHURCH! Guess what! I participated in the Chinese Gospel Principles class! I had to read a section about prayer and then explain to the class what I read. It was cool. And everyone understood me. I have such a great support group from the Chinese in the ward! They always want to speak to me and help me. Oh hey I got a new name! Apparently my last one is a boy name so....now it's Gui LenMei: beautiful black silk. A members mom gave it to me. She doesn't speak a lick of English - which is fun :) She told me that my Chinese was really good. I know they all say that, but hey it definitely boosted my confidence :)
