How it has only been 3 days since I emailed? It’s been an amazing 3 days though!! :))
Monday night we had Family Home Evening. We played a game that required trust. I was paired up with Grace (the one who comes to activities and church but wont meet with us). She had a great time and I feel like we are great friends now :) After FHE a member that came talked to us about fellowshipping the next day. (That sounds really weird in English. Sorry if I don’t make sense.) Grace over heard and she wondered what we were talking about. I told her that as missionaries we help people prepare for baptism. Then I asked her if she would like to meet with us. She said yes!!!! HUGE MIRACLE! :)))
On Tuesday we met with Grace. She is so cute. She went to a different church but was not happy there so she came here to see if this religion could help her. She said that she is looking for happiness. No problem Grace. The Savior gotchyou. She accepted the message really well. And then she went to the gospels class with a member after our lesson. So awesome! She is really getting to know the members and they are taking great care of her.
We also had a lesson with a new investigator, Vanessa. She is an English student. We met her on our way home last week and we invited her to come to English class. During the class spiritual share the teacher talked about tithing and she wanted to know more. Right at the beginning of the lesson she asked about prayer. How, why, when we can pray. All of that. She is wanting to try it out.
Zhou Jie Mei (Melody) has been our Pei Ke lately. She is awesome! She simplifies everything and relates everything back to what the investigator needs. And her Chinese is perfect ;)

We were able to go to the Taipei temple this morning. It was a wonderful experience. I have been studying a lot about God's love this move call. (ha it has only been like 2 weeks). So I went in with the questions, "How can I better feel God's love? How can I possess that perfect love? How can I help others feel His love?" My questions were answered. I know that God created us and loves every one of us. I know that he has a plan for all of us to be happy. He sees us with eyes focusing on who we can become. Sometimes our eyes are blind and we become unhappy. But we must remember who's time table we are on. His or ours. Love you all! :)) Hope ya'll have a great rest of the week. I will see ya'll on Monday! :)) -Sister Graham ps: don’t worry I have a Christmas tree. |
