HEY!! So transfers are up! This weekend was just insane! SO let me tell ya'll what's up.
Sister Lundquist has stayed in our area for the past four days. Her last companion got called to be a trainer. The trainers pick up their trainees four days before the movecall day (today). It has been fun and a ball having a three sisters in San Min. We have had many adventures and seen many miracles. Yesterday morning the ZL called and said that all three of us would be moving. Sister Lundwuick and I would be going to Zuo Ying in a threesum with Sister Southam and Sister Daknis would be moving up to Tai Zhong. They are shutting down San Min. There are not enough sisters to keep it up. WHAT?! We thought that just one person would have to pack and leave. But no...all 3 of us had to pack to leave and we have to get rid of everything at the house and clean it. All of this in one day. We flipped. All of us spoke at church (goodbye talk) and we took a lot of pictures. At about 6 pm the Assistants called me and told me and told me that I am staying in San Min. I will have a temporary missionary until I leave. So these temporary missionaries are locals who come and be with me for a week or two. Elder Ward’s RC are going to come and serve with us. I am so excited! My new companion is Sister Xie. She has been baptized just over a year. She is 19 years old and form Tai Zhong. I am so excited to be with her. This will also be the first time I have a Taiwanese companion. Cool! Right before I leave too.
So that is the deal about transfers. Ok now to talk about this week WHICH WAS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!

Monday I was so happy all day. Not sure why. Probably because #1 move call cleaning so the Spirit was stronger in the house #2 reflected on spiritual events and felt uplifted #3 finally got package sent home #4 Sharon texted us wanting to meet.
Sharon is amazing but she has been super stressed lately. She has two jobs and is finishing up school right now. (ya kids are STILL in school here. Be grateful American kids). She feels like she can't feel God's presence in her life anymore. So she is running back. She feels like it is because she hasn't been able to come to church and meet with us. So we met with her and talked about prayer. I think it is so interesting how just a little thing such as prayer can make such a huge impact in someone's life. And just changing the way we pray can influence the reaction we get. We can all improve the way we pray.
We saw a great miracle. While we were at the church we saw the elders and they met with a Guo Xian Sheng. Sister Daknis and I contacted him right outside of his house during power hour a week ago. At the time he didn't seem too interested but gave us his number. The elders told us that he was GOLDEN. Accepted Joseph Smith and is willing to pray and read to know if it is true. Really cool to see God's hand in another's life.
We went to Coscto today...I don't like it. Too American. I don't wanna go home.

We got a call from the elders on Friday afternoon. They had a member family from Ohio at the church. The mom wants her kids to learn more about the gospel while they are here for the summer. There is a rule that males can only teach females if there is a male present. There was no male. So the mom wanted us to take over. Mom with four kids. They are all very active in the gospel. It was fun to have a mini FHE with them. I also realized that I can't teach the gospel in English.
This has been a family finding week!
First was a dad who was waiting for his son outside of school. We started talking and he really liked the idea of a family centered gospel. We set up a time to meet with him and his family. "My daughter won't be there because of a study group. Is that ok? Next time you come I will make sure she is there." SWEET! Too bad he doesn’t live in our area.
The second family was a young couple with a little baby girl. We were doing power hour with the question, "What is a dad's greatest fear about his family?" Really good question. Gets people talking and you really get to know the person. They both really liked the idea of eternal families. Will be teaching them later this week.
We went to the park for Power Hour and met a cute mom with two little girls. The two girls saw us and pointed (cuz we're white) and then just started talking. The mom is Dao Jiao but doesn't know why. She loves the stories of Jesus and wanted us to come over and teach her kids. She also does not live in our area. We immediately referred her and the elders called us later that night and said that the whole family would be coming to church the next day.
So Lauren came from Ma Gong. It was cool to meet her. She is a cute 20 year old girl and has been an investigator for a long time. She is going to Canada for school next week. So we can only see her this week.

We met with Yan Xiu Zhen. We have been praying for her everyday that this visit she would accept a baptismal date. When the lesson came she told us that this week was terrible. She has a teacher who has cancer and is in bad condition. She wants to help her but doesn't know how. She has been praying everyday to find an answer to this question. But feels like she hasn't gotten anything. We listened and then turned to the scriptures, experiences and a parable. If a child begs to have a cookie from mom but mom knows that an apple is better she will give the child an apple. Even though the child begged for a cookie she did not get it. But she got what was good for her. Just like Heavenly Father. We think we know what we want and what we need. But He knows better. He always gives us better.
At the end of this lesson she bore the most BEAUTIFUL testimony on God's love. She feels, she knows it. She has definitely developed a relationship with God. She also said the closing prayer. She is so humble. She said God has brought this trial on her to bring her to Him. She has never been so determined to come to church before. When we invite she asks her daughter if she wants to go. This time she told her daughter that they were coming to church the next day. They both came to church. The ward members were very welcoming. She has a huge desire to learn and change. I pray that she will get baptized before I leave.
So that was this week. Lots of fun, tears and pictures :)))))
Love you all! See you next week.
