Hello Everyone! This was my last week at the MTC! I leave tomorrow morning at 3:30 am. Good thing I am all packed up ready to go - so this P-day is pretty relaxed.
Sister Liu left this morning. And I miss her so much! She was my other half. the pea to my pod. the straw to my berry. the peanut butter to my jelly. (name that song!) Ok, imagine spending 24/7 with someone for 9 weeks!!!!!!! You really really get close to them. I am so glad that I got to know Sister Liu. She is amazing! And she will do great things in Pennsylvania and in Taiwan!

Monday:
We had TRC today. We were actually put with someone that we met up with last week. And so we followed up on her commitment from last time. She told us that she was keeping that commitment and it has helped her. YAY!
Tues:
Sister Johnson and I ran together this morning. I love our morning runs. Today we talked about our many blessings. With an emphasis on language. Like the gift of tongues. It is so real! And I have learned that if I do my VERY BEST to study and be a good obedient missionary I will be blessed with that gift. I'm feeling grateful.

Thurs:
We met with Hely and Jose today. They are really special people. They are so strong and faithful. They know that God is taking care of them. Oh and they said to thank my parents for them. SO THANKS MOM AND DAD FROM HELY AND JOSE! They think that missionary work is amazing. And meeting with us has helped them. That brought me so much joy! And I feel like they will have a very special place in my heart because they are my first real investigators. We talked for about an hour. And because we are sick Jose gave us peppermint oil to sniff. It really helps the sinuses! Thank you Jose! Sister Liu was supposed to email me the picture that we have with them but she hasn't done that yet.
Fri:
We had in-field orientation. Everyone says that it is the worst thing ever. It really wasn't that bad. I actually enjoyed it - I learned a lot! Especially about the importance of numbers. My whole life I was told that numbers don't really matter. Numbers are just numbers but I need to be focusing on people. But then I heard, "Numbers do matter because each number represents a CHILD OF GOD." Whoah that is so true! Never thought about it that way.
Sat:
I love mormon messages! If you are ever feeling discouraged, sad or lonely just watched those. I am so grateful for modern prophets! They are true messengers of God.
We visited Sharon, the girl that Elder Chen and Elder Booth were teaching. She made everyone a cake. She isn't really supposed to make food for the missionaries but the manager was ok with it. She even came in and ate with us. I can't remember what the cake was called but it was soooo good!! It was like a yellow cake with pineapple and banana. And with homemade frosting! She taught us some little round songs. She is really so cute! And actually that night she said she wanted to be baptized! YAY!!!!!!!!!! :)))
